mid 1950s Parker 51 Ball Point Pen. Made in England. Rare Dark Burgundy with converging line pattern Rolled Gold cap. This color was only made for a short period at the beginning of UK Aerometric production. It was replaced with a brighter red color. Dark Burgundy is to UK Aerometrics what Plum is to US Aerometrics. I don't think you'll find may UK ball points in this color. The cap shows no dents, dings, scrapes or brassing. Minor handling wear can be seen through a loupe. Nothing visable to the bare eye. Clear grey jewel on top. Early barrel style with metal threaded piece. All brass cap actuated mechanism. It functions perfectly. Parker 51 ball points accept current Parker ball point and gel pen refills. New refill installed in pen. |

Parker 51 ball points accept current Parker ball point and gel pen refills. Original refill still in pen. It doesn't write. New refill included. |

circa 1960 Parker 51 Ball Point Pen. Made in England. Maroon (a little brighter and redder than US Burgundy). Mint Condition. Converging line pattern Rolled Gold cap. No dents, dings or brassing. No noticeable handling wear. Clear grey jewel on top. External barrel threads. Later nylon and brass cap mechanism. These are very reliable. I've yet to see one fail. It functions perfectly. Original cartridge still writes perfectly. Parker 51 ball points accept current Parker ball point and gel pen refills. |
