The Hood or Shell, Barrel and Blind Cap are crafted from Solid Pure Titanium.The Cap is a 1940’s Parker 51 Sterling Silver that has been turned Smooth. The mirror like finish is devoid of any dents or dings. The Cap Band reads “Sterling Silver Made in U.S.A.” The Gold Filled Blue Diamond Clip is from this same Era and is likely Vermeil (gold over silver) as this was rather common during the War Years. The matching Metal Cap and Blind Cap Jewels are made from High Grade Aircraft Aluminum. The Vacumatic Filling Unit has had all plastic or hard rubber components replaced with Metal. The All Metal Ink Pump shown in one of the Photos has a Solid Brass Alloy Rod (Aluminum is also Available) - Kind of like an Ultra Speedline Filler. A functional threaded Posting Ring has been placed between the Barrel and the Blind Cap. These Very Unique Titanium Fountain Pens Represent a Collaborative effort with a Remarkably Talented Jeweler, Machinist, Artist and Metal Smith. The Warm Metallic Matte finish is Unique to Titanium – in some respects it is similar to the short-lived Parker T-1. This pen is, however, much more “hefty” than the T-1. Few pens have captured the imagination more than the limited number of T-1’s that were produced with this Space Age Material. All of the machined components in this Fountain Pen reflect close tolerances consistent with Parker Standards in the 1940’s. The nib is a solid 14K Gold ’51 F/M, and the Feed, Collector, and Breather Tube are all original period components. A custom made filling unit removal tool is included with each pen. Lastly, the pen will be fitted with your choice of nib in the extra fine to medium range. Other nib choices may be offered based on available stock.

Beautiful cap with a gleaming gold finish, showing very little handling wear. No dents or dings but there are a few minute depressions. Not very noticeable. Gold Filled over solid silver pocket clip with full original enamel blue diamond. Clear grey jewel on top of cap. Super smooth, wet writing Medium nib. India Black plastic is glossy and scratch free. Blind cap fits flush. The pen is fully restored with a new diaphragm. It's ink free and ready to write.

Everything about this pen shows as mint with the exception of the damage pointed out on the blind cap and tassie. Converging line Gold Filled cap with wide polished band. Very crisply engraved lines. Flawless example of this cap.No handling wear. No dents, digs or brassing. Flawless Gold Filled pocket clip with full original enamel blue diamond. Clear grey jewel on top. No brassing or wear on the clip. Perfect Two tone clutch ring with very bright gold wash center band. Super smooth, wet writing Fine/Medium nib. No wear at all to the iridium. Buckskin plastic is glossy and scratch free. Perfect overall color. Perfect imprint. Very deep and complete. Blind cap fits flush. Clear amber plastic shaft vac filler. The flaws are two shallow gouges at the very bottom of the blind cap, 1/2" hairline stress fracture in the same area that I didn't even notice until I was photographing the pen and the nicks shown in the tassie. These are all cosmetic and are barely noticeable unless you study the end of the blind cap. Save this damage, I've never seen a better Bucksin pen. The pen is fully restored with a new diaphragm. It's ink free and ready to write.

Beautiful cap with a gleaming gold finish, showing some general handling wear. No dents or dings but there are a few micro dings that barely go into the surface. Not very noticeable. Gold Filled over solid silver pocket clip with full original enamel blue diamond. Clear grey jewel on top of cap. Super smooth, wet writing Medium nib. India Black plastic is glossy and scratch free. Blind cap fits flush. The pen is fully restored with a new diaphragm. It's ink free and ready to write.
