| 1947 Parker VS Pen & Pencil set. Mint condition. New Old Stock (NOS). Neither the pen or pencil were ever used. Everything is flawless and shows as new. No handling wear at all. Pen was never inked or dipped. Pencil still has original eraser that's pink and soft. As found. All correct and original parts. No repairs or restorations. Original price stickers still on barrels. Pen barrel stickers read "No F.E.Tax" and "XF 47-062 8.75" (XF nib $8.75 price). Pencil sticker reads "47-571 5.00". The XF nib in the pen is about the same size as a Fine Vacumatic nib. The photos make it look smaller than it really is. The nib also has a good deal of flex. It should be a wonderful writer. The VSs are favorite user pens of many Parker aficionados. This pen should fill and write flawlessly. The original diaphagram is still installed. I can hear a strong rushing air sound at the feed when I push the plunger. The pencil functions perfectly. These pencils are made from Parker 51 stock pieces with the exception of the cap. The barrel has darkened, typical of Midnight Blue Parker 51 pencil barrels. Set comes with the original Parker hard shell case. It's also perfect and fresh looking. No stains, marks or wear. | |||
